  • May 2020 – October 2021: Regular ZOOM collaborative meetings – composer, librettist, director, to finalize libretto and approach
  • July 2021: Week-long, in-person Design Workshop; collaboration continues remotely

2021 BEO into the future

  • January, May, June 2022: 3x 1-week Workshops; refine/finalize libretto and score, integrate costumes, lighting design/video; rehearse cast and full ensemble, Ben Makino, conductor
  • April – June 2022: Finalize historical documentation, video/audio presentations and printed materials for lobby display
  • June, 2022: Design completion and Final Staging Rehearsals
  • 2022 Premiere Performances at Presidio Theatre, San Francisco
  • Friday, June 24:         2pm “Pay-What-You-Will” Preview
  • Saturday, June 25:    8pm World Premiere
  • Sunday, June 26:       7pm Performance
  • Fall 2022 – Summer 2023: Touring of both the Staged Concert Version and the Fully Staged Version of this Both Eyes Open production, to other venues.
